This class is designed for those new to computers. We'll answer essential questions like:
✅ How do I use a computer?
✅ Where do I start?
✅ How can I find more help?
We’ll begin with a hands-on activity to help you customize your desktop. You’ll also learn how to send emails and browse the internet with confidence. Through interactive exercises and real-world examples, you'll develop fundamental computer skills. Additionally, we'll cover the basics of computer organization, including:
✅Understanding file paths, extensions, and storage
✅Finding and managing photos and files
✅Creating and organizing folders and subfolders
Moving and copying files for better accessibility By the end of this class, you’ll have the foundational knowledge and confidence to navigate and use a computer efficiently.

IPad/IPhone for Seniors

The IPad and the IPhone function the same, in most cases. Their portability makes them very handy. You can check Email, carry your books and music around with you. You can adjust the size of the text on the screen. We will go through Ipad/Iphone settings and will include Bluetooth, Siri, Dictation, books on the Ipad and more. PREREQUISITES: You need to bring your fully charged Ipad or Iphone to class along with the charger and USB cord. It is presumed that your device is already set up for use and you know both your password and your passcode.

We’ll start with a clear overview of spreadsheets, workbooks, formulas, and functions, along with a guide to navigating the Excel Ribbon and Help tools. Through hands-on exercises and practical examples, you’ll gain essential skills, including:

✅ Grouping and organizing cells
✅ Applying formatting for clarity
✅ Manipulating data for analysis and presentation
